The outreach programs are so effective since most of complaints cases are solved straight on the spot because of the participation of residents and local authorities by giving information on the complaints and it saves complainants money and time to reach the Office of the Ombudsman. The Office of the Ombudsman takes the opportunity to call upon citizens to fight any form of corruption and injustice. " Corruption undermines the development of the country, your children need to know that corruption is not part of Rwandan values, be a good example to your children" said by Deputy Ombudsman when addressing Gisagara residents in charge of preventing and fighting injustice in the recently concluded outreach program.
