ANTI INJUSTICE DAY IN GATSIBO DISTRICT

On 5th February 2015, the authorities of the Office of the Ombudsman and staff from Preventing and Fighting injustice Unit were in all sectors of Gatsibo District in anti injustice day . The anti injustice day aims at sensitizing citizens on the evilness of corruption and injustice, ways to report and also injustice cases are solved. Some are solved on spot with the help of local leaders and citizens, others are taken to the Office of the Ombudsman for deep analysis.

The anti injustice day helps the citizens to meet with the staff of the Office of the Ombudsman without taking long journey to the Office of the Ombudsman and with the help of citizens the cases are easily solved.

Adressing citizens of Rugarama sector , Deputy Ombudsman in charge of preventing and fighting injustice Kanzayire Bernadette called upon citizens to actively fight against injustice and corruption by reporting any form of corruption and injustice malpractice because if the close eyes it ends up affect them in one way or another.

The Office of the Ombudsman is conducting anti injustice day in different Districts. On 12th February 2015, the anti injustice day will be conducted in Huye District.
