10th October 2016:The Office of the Ombudsman will conduct the outreach program in the third District since the beginning of the new fiscal year which started in July 2016. Ngororero District was the first district followed by Gisagara District. On 26th and 27th October 2016 will be the turn of Kamonyi District (click here for the program).

During the outreach program, the Office of the Ombudsman will solve injustice complaints in all 12 sectors comprising Kamonyi District and also anti corruption and injustice sensibilisation will be conducted. on 28th October 2016, the Office of the Ombudsman will meet with the officials of the Kamonyi District to discuss about the nature of complaints received in the Districts, how they may be prevented in the future and the timeframe of solving those who need further investigations and consultations.
Among 11,343 complaints received in outreach programs since 2011, 7764 cases were solved on spot with the help of local authorities and residents and others cases have been later solved after further investigations and cooperation with concerned institutions.
