Today on 03rd August 2017, the delegation from OIF(Organisation Internationale de la Francophonie ) visited the Office of the Ombudsman .

Though, they came from different countries like Canada, Benin,... they are from the same organisation in which they stand for, after meeting the Advisor to the Ombudsman, the team met The permanent secretary of the Office of the Ombudsman and discussed on different agenda points regarding the Office of the Ombudsman.


During the Presentation

The main key of the discussion relayed on presentation about the office of the Ombudsman, its attributions, the nomination of Ombudsman of Rwanda as well as his/her Deputies, other institutions that are in line with the Office and some of the strategies used by This Office in fighting against Corruption.

Mme GANDAHO, Advisor to the Ombudsman of Benin Republic, admired the presentation and explication got from the Office of the Ombudsman. ’’ we really wish and want to work with the Office of Ombudsman as Rwanda also figure in French speaking countries’’. she opined

ZONGO odo Cyrille also reiterated that The Office of the Ombudsman is waited in the Network of Mediators and Ombudsmen of OIF.

The delegation liked the strategies used by the Office of ombudsman assured that some of them might be useful in their countries’ fight against Corruption and injustice.
