Muhanga: Another suspect was arrested involving in Corruption

On 28th July 2017, in Muhanga District,southern province, a man suspected of involving in corruption is detained by the police after being caught receiving money for corruption.

This man of average of 40 years old asked for a 100,000 francs from a citizen who has his/her relative in jail, promising that he will deal with the prosecutor in order to release the prisoner. He was caught while receiving the second installment of 10,000 francs which would be twenty thousand if he could have made it.

The Office of the Ombudsman urges the population to stop involving in corruption and to never pay attention to those who demand them money assuring to give them any kind of service.
