The Office of The Ombudsman is organizing the Anti-corruption week Dates: 01-09 December 2017

On every 09th December of the year, The Office of The Ombudsman joins the international community in celebrating the international Anti-corruption day. Specifically, The Office organizes the National Anti-corruption week which starts with the month of December with nine day long activities throughout the country. The week of the year 2017 will kick off on the 1st to 9th Dec with the aim of exhorting the entire population on the forthright values and on everyone’s role and contribution in fighting against corruption.
The Office also partners with other institutions but particularly with the National Anti-corruption and injustice Advisory Council members during activities of this week within the country.
During this week also the Office of The Ombudsman evaluates the performance of Districts Anti-corruption and injustice Advisory Councils and Anti-corruption clubs by which the best three performers of each category are awarded with prizes for motivation.
It is in this context that the Office of The Ombudsman is contributing in the Rwanda justice sector activities that aims at eradicating corruption and related offences such as the second workshop on combating economic and financial crimes organized by the National Public Prosecution Authority during 09th and 10th November 2017
